File size limits: Free plan - up to 1GB. Pro - up to 3GB. Studio - up to 5GB. WAV files are limited to 3GB across all plans (approx. 3 hours of audio).
Each profile applies a different set of processing optimised for its intended playback environment. Choose the one that matches where your mix will be heard.
Targets -14 to -12 LUFS - the loudness level used by Spotify, Apple Music, and Mixcloud. Balanced compression and gentle limiting to ensure your mix sounds consistent across streaming platforms without being penalised by loudness normalisation.
Best for: Releasing on streaming platforms, radio shows, mixes for online distribution.
Aggressive limiting and a smile-curve EQ (boosted lows and highs) designed to cut through a high-SPL PA system. Maximises perceived loudness and energy for large room playback.
Best for: DJ sets for clubs, festivals, or any large sound system.
A 2-5kHz presence boost improves speech intelligibility, with gentle dynamic ducking to keep host segments punchy. Targets -16 LUFS to meet podcast platform standards.
Best for: Podcast episodes, radio shows with voice-over, DJ interviews.
Applies tape and tube saturation emulation, rolls off harsh high frequencies, and thickens the low-mids. Gives digital recordings the warmth and depth of an analogue signal chain.
Best for: House, disco, soul, any genre where a vintage warmth suits the music.
320kbps MP3 is near-indistinguishable from lossless for most listeners. Smaller files, universally compatible with streaming, DJ software, and broadcast systems. Good choice if file size matters or if your final destination is streaming.
16-bit / 44.1kHz WAV preserves every detail of the master. Recommended if you're handing the file to a broadcaster, pressing to vinyl, or want an archive copy before encoding to other formats.
Annual billing saves 17%. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the Billing page.
Once your mix has been mastered, a Download button appears on the dashboard. Your file is also available in your History for as long as your plan retains it.
Downloaded files are named your-original-filename - Mastered with Setmaster Pro.wav/mp3 so you can easily identify them alongside your original mix.
File availability: Masters are available for 24 hours after processing completes, on all plans. After that the file is permanently deleted. Download and back up your master as soon as it's ready.
If your download link has expired, you'll see an Expired badge in your History. To get a new master, simply resubmit your mix - this uses one mix credit.
