Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy lists everything SetMaster Pro stores on your device, why, for how long, and how you can control it. SetMaster Pro is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. Read this alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What this covers
Cookies are small text files a website places on your device. This policy also covers local storage, which works in a similar way and is treated the same by UK law (PECR). Each item below is marked as a cookie or as local storage.
2. What we store
2.1 Strictly necessary
Needed to provide something you asked for: signing in, finishing a signup, connecting a publishing platform, paying, or remembering your cookie choice. These do not need consent.

2.2 Analytics (under the UK analytics exemption)
UK law lets a site store information for its own statistics without asking first, as long as it tells you clearly and makes it easy to object. We use this for one thing: recording where you came from (for example a newsletter link) so that, if you sign up, we know which of our pages and campaigns work.

How to object: click Decline on the banner, or use "Cookie settings" in the footer and then Decline. That deletes smp_utm and stops it being written again.
2.3 Only with your consent
Stored only after you click Accept on the banner.

If you sign up during the same visit, the referral is recorded with your account whether or not you accept, because nothing is stored on your device for that: the referral is held in the page's memory and is gone when you close the tab.
2.4 Live chat

3. What we do not use
- -Advertising or targeting cookies
- -Social media tracking pixels
- -Cross-site tracking
- -Any sale or sharing of your data with advertisers
4. How to control it
4.1 The banner and Cookie settings
On your first visit you will see a banner with Accept and Decline. You can change your mind at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer, which clears your choice and shows the banner again. Declining removes smp_ref and smp_utm and turns Google Analytics cookies off.
4.2 Browser settings
- -Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Cookies and other site data
- -Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data
- -Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data
- -Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions
Clearing site data removes local storage as well as cookies. Blocking everything will stop you signing in.
5. Your rights by region
UK users
Section 2 follows UK PECR as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, including the analytics exemption in 2.2. You can withdraw consent or object at any time with Cookie settings.
EU and EEA users
You have the right to withdraw consent at any time. Use Cookie settings in the footer.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
We do not sell or share personal information collected through cookies for behavioural advertising.
6. Do Not Track
We do not currently change behaviour in response to Do Not Track browser signals. Use the banner or Cookie settings to decline instead.

When we start storing something new we add it here and update the date above.
