Terms and Conditions

SetMaster Pro provides an automated audio mastering service at setmasterpro.com, allowing users to upload audio files, apply mastering profiles, and receive processed audio output files.

1.1 What the Service includes

• —Upload of audio files (WAV, MP3, AIFF, FLAC) to secure cloud storage
• —Selection of mastering profiles: Streaming/Radio, Club/Festival, Podcast/Radio Show, Warm/Analogue
• —Automated audio processing including EQ, compression, limiting, silence trimming, and level correction
• —Download of the processed mastered audio file
• —Temporary cloud storage for the duration specified by your plan

1.2 What the Service does not include

• —Human audio engineering or manual review of your files
• —Guarantee of any specific commercial outcome from processed audio
• —Mastering for video files
• —Music distribution or publishing

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.

3.2 Free tier

The Free tier includes a short audio watermark at the beginning of all processed output files. This watermark is removed on all paid plans.

3.3 Billing and currency

All prices are displayed in GBP. If you are based outside the UK, your bank may apply currency conversion charges outside our control. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

3.4 Taxes

Prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes. Local taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax) may be calculated and added at checkout by Stripe depending on your location.

3.5 Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time via your account billing page.

4.1 No refunds after processing

Due to the immediate consumption of computing resources upon submission, we do not offer refunds once a mastering job has been processed.

4.2 Unused subscription period

If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the unused portion.

4.3 UK and EU consumer rights

You have a 14-day right to cancel from the date of purchase unless you have begun using the digital service. By submitting a file for processing, you acknowledge the right of withdrawal is extinguished upon commencement of processing.

4.4 Australian consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted, our liability for breach of a consumer guarantee is limited to resupply of the Service.

4.5 Other jurisdictions

If local law grants you statutory refund rights that cannot be contractually excluded, those rights are not affected. Contact support@setmasterpro.com to discuss your options.

5.1 Your responsibility

You retain ownership of all audio files you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and return your files solely to provide the Service.

5.2 Copyright

You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights for the audio content you upload. We are not responsible for any copyright infringement arising from your uploaded content. You agree to indemnify us from any claims arising from your content.

5.3 Prohibited content and uses

• —Do not upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
• —Do not upload defamatory, obscene, or unlawful material
• —Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits or tier restrictions
• —Do not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• —Do not resell or sublicence access without our written consent
• —Do not violate applicable laws in your jurisdiction

• —Free tier: files deleted after 3 days
• —Pro tier: files deleted after 14 days
• —Studio tier: files deleted after 30 days

You are responsible for downloading files within the retention period. We accept no liability for files deleted after expiry.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is". Processing times are estimates only. Audio results may vary depending on the quality of source audio.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SetMaster Pro shall not be liable for loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data beyond agreed storage, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

You may cancel your account at any time via account settings or by contacting support@setmasterpro.com. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory local rights (including EU member states, Australia, Canada, or US states with consumer protection laws), those mandatory rights are not excluded by these Terms. Disputes should first be raised with us at support@setmasterpro.com. EU users may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
